What We Do
Standard press offers printing services all under single roof like -
Pre-press Process : Preliminary printing tasks like, Prepress designing, film development, plate-making, choice of suitable raw materials.
Production Process : Sheet-fed printing, Single color to multi color printing to cater various needs of the global end users, cutting, binding, gluing, diary binding, case binding,text book finishing, notebook making, Spiral binding and any other commercial and promotial printings all done here.
Post production process: Other than offset printing services allied other services like package and conveyance are also provided its best. Packing boxes are also manufactured in-house to supply products in good condition, We offer the best means of transportation of import or export ensuring the products reaches its destination safe and on time.

In the total area of 60000 sq.feet in Poothayammal Nagar which encloses, Standard group’s concerns like, Y.R.T.V school, Quarry and Standard Press. Its origin can be traced from 1923 on-wards years added . A self-sufficient Infrastructure is the basic requirement of any establishment , development and well maintained private roads viable for transport with shady trees planted on both the sides. Our Standard Press is located across 60000 Square feet area, which accommodates the best equipments from around the world and having an ocean of clientele at various level across the globe.The founder’s love of nature blessed us with the green surrounding which is picturesque.

Genesis
In memory of the late philanthropist Thiru N.R.K.Rajaratnam, whose pioneering spirit in business and industry, earned for himself an indelible niche in the annals of Sivakasi.Thiru Rajaratnam's matchless genius and tireless energy gave rise to the "The Standard Group of Industries". Thiru.Yennarkay R. Ravindran, the son of Late yennarkay Rajarathnam and Late.Poothayammal, a man of 'Simple living and high thinking',he chalked out a program for the dawn of higher education and economic upliftment of rural people in and around Sivakasi by establishing Schools and Colleges, matches, fireworks and printing press,etc. It was their vision to liberate the rural mob from their socio, economic and cultural constraints by intellectually equipping them to confront the challenges of everyday life.
Late.Shri.N.R.K.R. Ravindran
A burning desire is the starting point of all his accomplishments.
Our beloved Shri.N.R.K.R.Ravindran has started providing all these above sayings true at the age of 17 when he lost his father who was 38 years old. Our former patron did his schooling at Montford school in Ooty and Blodwins boys’ school in Bangalore.When he took up his responsibilities they had their home in Poothayammal Nagar. After which he bought 125 acres of land and constructed Y.R.T.V Matriculation higher Secondary School, YRTV Elementary school in Tamil, Standard Match factory, NRKR Hind matches units, Standard Press and Standard Quary.
He has not only developed industries in Tamilnadu but has also extended it to Hassan at Karnataka in 1996. “You can achieve anything you want, if you help enough people get what they want” - is one of his secret of Success.He has also received an award at Mepco from Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam for his marvelous service as a correspondent to Y.R.T.V school. He also got award from TamilNadu Chief Minister, Kamarajar when he inaugurated, the Government hospital donated by him.
